New research: The importance of school staff strategy buy in and link to retention
The link between teacher buy in and commitment to their school
A new research paper from Professor John Jerrim (UCL) using data from the TEP pilot (2022-23) found that schools with strong buy in to their strategy from their teachers, also had high commitment to the organisation.
What's inside
John's paper breaks down the TEP data and looks specifically at the Leadership driver in relation to overall school staff engagement. This is an important paper that can provide insight to school leaders and policy makers working on strategies to improve teacher retention.
